What We Do
Timberland Appraisal Services, LLC is a professional appraisal firm specializing in the appraisal of natural resource investments in the southeastern United States. We serve the appraisal needs of timberland investment management organizations, institutional landowners, private landowners, environmental organizations, lenders, as well as various governmental agencies. Projects are often performed for acquisitions, dispositions, financial reporting, estate planning, property division, dispute resolution, and taxation issues.
Who We Are
Jeff D Williams, ARA, ACF, the principal appraiser for Timberland Appraisal Services, LLC, has over 35 years of experience in the rural appraisal industry. He is a graduate of the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources at the University of Georgia and holds the Accredited Rural Appraiser designation awarded by the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers and is a designated member of the Association of Consulting Foresters. Although most of his experience has involved forestland, he also routinely appraises agricultural lands.
